A.C. Crispin and Victoria Strauss -- Not Just Yet

Well, it's April 2--and yes, it was a joke. You're not rid of us yet. We don't think we had that many of you convinced, anyway.

Some scammers may have had their fingers crossed, though.

Thanks for all the great comments and emails--they really do mean a lot.

Until the next post!

When I saw it bright and early this morning, you had me until about halfway through the third paragraph. And when I went to comment, and realized some people were going to buy it, hook, line, and sinker... well, I had to rewrite about 10 times before I thought of something that wouldn't give it away. :)

So I thought, but seriously, that joke put me on another round of Prilosec. :)

Now I'm gonna go find out how many of the people running for SFWA President as of yesterday were joking.

The best jokes are very convincing.

As was this.

Glad you're not hanging 'em up.

Thank all deities.

I guess I can call off the spa date designed to bribe you two?

And let you keep the dragoon kazoo and t-shirt?

Whew! I'm glad I write over the weekends and ignore the Internet. I would have climbed through the screen to strangle you for deserting us.

Don't even think about it, ladies. We need you.

Love and cheers.

Hook, line and sinker?

You mean hook, line, and snicker, don't you?

Well done, ladies.

You are both very, very naughty.

But since we get to keep you for a while, I forgive you.

Ann and Victoria,
I read the post from April 1st at first, and then this one. I must admit that my heart stopped for a few beats. All writers need you guys! Don't play with my emotions like that...please!
Did P.N. Elrod REALLY leave a comment? Is that really her? **gushing** Cool...
